Honouring Our Little Brothers at the National Monument to Migration

Saturday 11 May was a truly special day for BBM as we gathered at the Australian National Maritime Museum to witness the unveiling of ten former Little Brothers’ names, now permanently engraved on the National Monument to Migration.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for the ceremony. Your presence made the occasion even more meaningful as we honoured these remarkable individuals and acknowledged the important chapter of migration history they represent through BBM.

A heartfelt thank you to Steven Bennett for delivering a powerful and moving speech. Speaking on behalf of all the Little Brothers, Steven shared his own migration story with deep reflection and pride, capturing the enduring spirit of BBM and those it has supported.

The following names are now inscribed on the National Monument to Migration:
